This is Kao located not far from Monterey, California where we toured and took whole family for an all day event at its Aquarium. Let me tell ya, it is an all day event just to get through all of the new updates this aquarium has to offer. Extremely educational and beautifully done with addition to two cafes and outdoor eating areas along with opportunities for grade school kids to scuba drive with instructors to located its endless marine life. Cannery row is fun place to walk through its shops and eateries....fish anyone? Also includes outdoor concerts near beach access...Kids liked it so well they have dubbed it to be our official family reunion place.




David's mom introduced us to Kao's campgrounds b/c they were also dog leash friendly places, so you can travel with your animals...they like it too!




Where can you take the whole family for camping fun that includes kiddo train rides, playground twisted slides, crafts, swimming pool and its own convenient store for those marshmallow or hot dogs you forgot? Why the KAO of course and especially those centrally located walking distance from California beaches...Ethan shared his banana bike with Marion and others ...what fun! I love these little cabins that house up to 4 and you can rent them out next to other family cabins near shower facilities too.
