David and I have learned a lot from Edward who is not shy about telling his history. He is a great-grandson of a souther plantation owner which Edward inherited years ago, but all that's left now is a few very large portraits paintings, one being his g-grandmother dressed in a southern bell dress. David answered Edward Craiglist for a guitarist, but little did we know it was all part of a plan....for David to united with this unusual musican group designated to be together. Everyone in the group has a common historical past with Edward history which I felt was rather strange. This is how David is connected....One of my first meetings with David's parents was when I took my boys, Andrew and Ben to visit them in Lake Chelan, Washington and while there Charles and Rita took us for a walk in the apple orchard above their property. As we climbed up steep hillside Rita foretold a story of an old man in his 90's who relentlessly continues to farm and plant apple trees reguardless of the fact he will never live to eat this its fruit. Below is a pic of Edward son, and this same old man who Edward met in Lake Chelan. The old man's story inspired Edward to write a song about him...
