Our trip to Fort Mason to see the annual Orchid Show

We couldn't ask for better weather for this time of year...in the low 60's. Everyone seem to feel the same spring fever we were. The boardwalk was busy with skateboards, athletes, and tourist trying to get the most out in the sun. I wanted to show you the flowers we saw; although, some are repeated and out of order by mistake, but you'll get the idea of what we saw and how amazing the orchid species are. After the show, Pat insisted we should have dessert first, so we ate at the famous chocolate factory.( pic of the sign in background of our group photo). Then we stopped and had fishy food and clam chowder bowls. It was just a short walk to the Pier from Fort Mason, so the parking was only $8.00 for pretty much all day or at least until the Orchid show closed. We sure had a great time, and that's what I like about being close to do so many things in the Bay area.
